In an effort to make Kapurthala district free from crime, the police team under the leadership of SSP Gaurav Toora has launched cordon-and-search operations (CASO), wherein senior officers are actively involved in conducting ground-level raids targeting snatchers, robbers, burglars, and drug traffickers.

As part of this initiative, Phagwara Superintendent of Police Rupinder Kaur Bhatti, along with Traffic Officer Inspector Aman Kumar Daveshver and SHO City Usha Rani, carried out search drives at various locations, including Chajj Colony, the bus terminal, and the railway station in Phagwara.

SSP Toora stated that the operation aimed to reassure the public of the police’s commitment to their safety and that these raids would increase pressure on wrongdoers and help in reducing criminal activities.

SP Bhatti mentioned that law enforcement visited key areas to send a strong and unambiguous message. SSP Toora emphasized that the department was fully prepared to take strict action against offenders.
