A total of 15 police personnel were recognized by the Commissionerate Police for their outstanding efforts in the ongoing anti-narcotics drive during a special commendation ceremony held on Thursday. Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur presented CC-I certificates to six Sub-Inspectors and nine Assistant Sub-Inspectors, acknowledging their consistent dedication and proactive role in tackling drug-related issues.
In addition to the certificates, each officer was also presented with a letter of appreciation as a gesture of acknowledgment for their commendable service.
Addressing the gathering, CP Dhanpreet Kaur lauded the officers for their relentless efforts, stating that their unwavering dedication under the ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ campaign had set a high standard for the entire department. “Their bravery and perseverance not only boost the spirit of the police force but also instill public confidence,” she remarked.
“The true reward for excellent work is the opportunity to shoulder even greater responsibilities.”
Other senior officials, including DCP (Investigation) Manpreet Singh Dhillon, ADCP (Investigation) Jayant Puri, and ADCP (Headquarters) Sukhwinder Singh, were also in attendance and commended the awardees for their unwavering commitment and service.
