CityweliveA distressing case involving allegations of sexual assault, blackmail, physical abuse, and forced abortion under the guise of a promise of marriage has surfaced in the Bhondsi Police Station jurisdiction of Gurugram. The case concerns a woman employed as a teacher in a private school, who has filed a complaint against an academy owner. She has accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her, threatening to release explicit videos and photos, physically attacking her, extorting ₹1 lakh, and compelling her to undergo an abortion. A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged at Bhondsi Police Station.
As per the complaint, the survivor — a widow residing in the Bhondsi area with her son — came into contact with Ajit Pratap Singh Kushwaha, a native of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in 2021. They met while both were employed at the same school, and Ajit later went on to start his own coaching centre.
“On November 6, 2021, Ajit requested me to drop him at his academy. After reaching, he offered me a cold beverage that was spiked. I became semi-conscious, and during that time, he sexually assaulted me while falsely assuring me of marriage. When I later confronted him about marrying me, he outright denied it. He then threatened to make my private photos and videos public. After that, he continued exploiting me physically,” the teacher stated in her complaint.
She further alleged, “In 2022, he asked me to send my son to my parents’ house and live with him, which I declined. He continued to blackmail me and extorted ₹1 lakh. In October 2024, I became pregnant, but he deceived me by giving pills that resulted in a miscarriage. I also had to resign from my teaching job. Eventually, I confided in my family, and they helped me approach the police.”
Following her statement, police registered an FIR and have initiated an investigation. A senior police official confirmed that the matter is being actively probed and the accused will be apprehended shortly.
